Graham to tour with Under One Sky
Graham Coxon will soon embark on a full-length UK tour with John
McCusker's folk collective Under One Sky. The dates are as
follows:
- Nov 25 - Old Fruitmarket, Glasgow
- Nov 27 - Music Hall,
Aberdeen
- Nov 28 - Perth Concert Hall, Perth
- Nov 29 - Ironworks, Inverness
- Dec 1 - Pocklington Arts Centre,
Pocklington
- Dec 2 - The Lowry, Manchester
- Dec 4 - The Sage Gateshead, Gateshead
- Dec 5 - Alnwick Playhouse, Alnwick
- Dec 6 - Queen Elizabeth Hall,
London
- Dec 7 - Albert Hall Conference Centre, Nottingham
- Dec 8 - Queen's Hall, Edinburgh
A similar to Damon
Albarn's Africa Express, the tour will feature a dozen
acclaimed folk musicians including Julie Fowlis, John Tams
and Roddy Woomble. A studio album by Under One Sky will be
exclusively available at the concerts. The official
release will follow on 2nd February through Navigator
Records. In related news, Graham's already finished seventh studio
album is apparently not going to be released in a while,
since EMI has dropped him from their roster. With his old
record label Transcopic defunct, this simply means a
new deal must be signed before the release.
