Damon records track for Olympic Games

Damon Albarn has collaborated with an Algerian born French singer Rachid Taha and Brian Eno to record a track for Athens 2004 Olympic Games. The three piece worked in studio in September and the result track is expected to be released in June.

In other news, Damon is set to make a guest appearance in the BBC serie Coupling. More details on this as soon as they are confirmed.


Update added February 15, 2004:

Apparently Damon expressed an interest in this project, but couldn't be involved in the recording in the end (thanks BFC for info).
