The album's second single, "New
Gold", was released yesterday on
YouTube
and various other platforms. The first single, "Cracker
Island", was premiered in June.
But what is this mysterious Cracker Island? Speaking to
Yle last
month, Damon Albarn said that "it is an island
where all the crazy people can go to start their own sect and
live in their own echo chamber. That's the world we live in."
"Cracker Island is the sound of
change and the chorus of the collective,"
described Noodle the album in the official press release.
