The 40-minute album will be
released on various formats, including CD, cassette,
vinyl and download/stream (see
Discography for more details). The label is Transgressive Records
to which Damon has recently signed.
The album's title track was
released as a single yesterday and is available to listen to
on various platforms, including
YouTube and
Spotify.
The record started in 2019 as
an orchestral piece composed in Iceland. Early this year, it was developed into more formal songs
with the sessions taking place at Damon's home studio in Devon. "It was the most extreme two
months making the record. I think it kind of needed to be
because the atmosphere of the record is quite unique, for me
anyway," Damon told
Steve
Lamacq yesterday.
