- vblurpage.com: Damon sells
a song for Haiti
|

eBay auction page for a
Damon Albarn song |
A song written and recorded by Damon
Albarn is currently up for an auction on
eBay.co.uk. The auction is organized by Oxfam which says
that 100% of the winning bid will go to the organization's Haiti earthquake
funds.
Sadly, it is not known yet
whether the public will ever hear the song because apparently
only the winning bidder will have the rights to the song. A
statement on the auction page reads:
The successful bidder will
own a recording of a composition especially written performed
and recorded by Damon Albarn for their exclusive personal
use (subject to terms & conditions). The winning bidder
will need to sign a contract before receiving this piece of
music.
The auction ends on the 1st
of February and currently has a winning bid of £5,100. Other
artists taking part in
Oxfam's Haiti
auction include Arctic Monkeys, Basement Jaxx, Pet
Shop Boys and many more.
