Old Seymour live video surfaces
online
A
historic Seymour live footage has been uploaded to
YouTube
today (Dec 8). The video, which may be the oldest one
featuring Damon, Graham, Alex and Dave, shows Seymour
performing "Superman" at the Harlow Square on 18th December
1989.
The video has
been
stored over the years by the gig organiser
scissorkicks who says that more footage from the same gig
may appear in the
upcoming Blur documentary No Distance Left To Run.
Meanwhile, more interesting
facts and memories about Seymour's early gigs can be found from
Rhodri Marsden's blog.
Rhodri was an on-off member of The Keatons who were supported
by Seymour
numerous times in late 1980s (including the gig at The Square).
Update added
December 10, 2009:
Sadly, the video
is not available for public viewing anymore. Scissorkicks has
posted an
announcement explaining why did this happen.
