A Blur Switch Project

GRAHAM Coxon tells fans to expect another solo album before Blur enter the studio.

The bespectacled guitarist, whose set The Spinning Top was only released last month, said: “We don’t envisage a new (Blur) album for the moment – we’re all busy with our own projects.

“I’ll have a new solo album sooner or later. I already have several songs stacked up.”

And the tunes have less of a retro feel than his recent folkish efforts…

Coxon, 40, added: “It’s a completely different style. They sound more 2066 than 1966 this time.”
