Damon writes pieces for sinfonia ViVA

For those not so familiar with the UK's classical music
scene, ViVA is the name of the long-running orchestra currently
conducted by André de Ridder (the leader of Monkey:
Journey To The West orchestra).
On February 1st, ViVA will perform two
short pieces written by Damon Albarn at Leicester's new performing
arts centre, Curve.
As part of ViVA's new commissions
series, Damon's pieces are imaginately titled as
"New Commission 1" and "New Commission 2".
These pieces will be performed in-between violist Antje
Wiethass' sets.
