Damon - Plague Song
Damon has written a new song
especially for Sunday's "Plague Songs" event being held at
London's Barbican centre. The show is being curated by David
Coulter who was the musical director on Monkey: Journey To
The West. It is still to be confirmed whether Damon will
actually perform at the event. For more info and tickets,
visit the
Barbican website.
Update added
November 1, 2007 from vblurpage.com:
Damon performed a new song at
the event with the New London Children's Choir. The following is taken from
musicOMH.com's review:
"Finally Damon Albarn closed
the evening by trooping out the New Children's Choir. His
piano and their mixed cherubic and mid-adolescent voices
brought the entire ensemble to a climatic end with another
brand new song."
