Alex plays bass for Natalie Imbruglia

Alex James has revealed that he has played bass for Natalie Imbruglia. Writing in his regular column in The Independent, Alex said he enjoyed the experience:

"I went down to Orinoco Studios in Bermondsey to play bass for Natalie Imbruglia. It made me feel so much better, playing the bass always does, I understand exactly why the Emperor Nero feld compelled to play his fiddle as Rome burned."

The new Natalie Imbruglia album is scheduled to be out this summer. It is not yet known whether Alex's contribution will appear on the record.
