Blurcast.com:
Blurcast - the return of
Blur Radio
To celebrate 15 years of
Blur, we announce the arrival of Blurcast - a
brand new internet radio station dedicated to the
band's entire back-catalogue.
On Thursday 20th January 2005,
Blurcast will be launched with an exciting
programme of b-sides, rarities, solo material,
collaborations, interviews and live tracks... 24
hours a day, 7 days a week!
Our playlists will be updated every
month and feature a daily theme, during which you
will be able to hear a selection of relevant Blur
tracks from the archives throughout the day. We
will also be producing a monthly Most Wanted show
as Blurcast plays the band's most requested
tracks as voted for by our listeners at
www.blurcast.com. Full schedule information will
be available from our launch date.
Listening to Blurcast will not cost
you a penny with only a Live365 registration
required to receive our live streams. This
registration is also completely free and will
grant you instant access to thousands of internet
radio stations.
Blurcast is a non-profit making
station and relies entirely upon voluntary
listener donations to remain on-the-air. A simple
Paypal donation system will be made available to
any listeners wishing to show their support. All
proceeds will go towards the hosting costs
involved in the production and maintainance of
our programmes. This includes all licences and
royalties required to keep Blurcast legal.
SO, TUNE IN FROM THURSDAY 20TH
JANUARY AND HELP US CELEBRATE THE TRUE RETURN OF
BLUR RADIO!
