- unknown: Graham Coxon
ICA art show on Oct 30th and 31st
Graham Coxon will hold a
retrospective of his artwork at the ICA in London
on Oct 30th and 31st.
Graham, more familiar as one of the
most brilliant guitarists of his generation- both
with Blur and now as a solo artist - is also a
gifted artist who studied fine art at Goldsmiths,
along with contemporaries such as Sam Taylor
Wood.
Until now, Graham's artwork could
only be seen on the sleeves of his five solo
albums, the singles taken from them, and on
Blur's album '13'.
The ICA show will feature a
comprehensive selection of Graham's work over the
years, ranging from pre Goldsmiths age 17,
through his days as a Goldsmiths student to some
brand new work that he has done especially for
this show.
A website
www.grahamcoxonart.com is now online with
information about the exhibition and also details
of a selection of 10 different limited edition
art prints, signed and numbered by Graham. These
will be available to purchase from the website
from Oct 29.
