Damon solo?? pt. 2

Although rumoured before in the NME, yesterdays Observer article once more mentions the prospect of a Damon solo (and Gorillaz) album:
"on this (the USA) tour Albarn has retreated to his hotel room to record a series of songs written with a new Gorillaz album in mind - but he now intends to release them as they are as a solo album. The record has the working title Demo Crazy and, he says, 'sounds very American - and I don't know why'"
