bbc.co.uk/radio1:
Blur's 'different' sound without
Graham
Daman Albarn from
Blur has said he'd still like Graham Coxon to
come back.
The band played an exclusive live
gig for Radio 1 earlier on Jo Whiley's show, and
played some tracks from their new album out next
month.
It's four years since their last
one, and guitarist Graham doesn't play on it much
this time.
Damon says it's
really changed the sound:
"We still hope that he'll come
back. I hope it's not a permanent thing. But
someone else had to play guitars, basically, and
I was kind of given the job."
"I've got a
different style of guitar to Graham."
