Blur for Carling Weekend
Blur are to co-headline this
year's Reading and Leeds Carling Weekend
Festivals, dotmusic can confirm.
The band, who release their
long-awaited seventh album - 'Think Tank'
- next month, will play the Main Stage on
Saturday August 23 (Reading) and Sunday, August
24 (Leeds).
US rock acts Linkin Park and Metallica
will join Blur as headliners for the
annual festival, with acts including The White
Stripes, Blink 182 and System Of A
Down also scheduled to perform over the Bank
Holiday weekend.
