Blur play Roskilde

Blur have been added to the line-up of this year's Roskilde Festival, dotmusic can report.

The band - strongly tipped for a headlining slot at the Carling Weekend in August - will perform at the Danish festival, which takes place from June 26-29.

Queens Of The Stone Age, Coldplay and The Polyphonic Spree are also booked to appear at the annual event, though organisers are yet to announce final schedule details.

Blur are to perform at the South By Southwest music conference in Texas later this week, with an intimate show at New York's Bowery Ballroom scheduled for March 16.

Their hotly-anticipated new album, 'Think Tank', is released in the UK on May 5.
