NME.com:
Lives in a, erm, very big castle...
BLUR bassist ALEX
JAMES wants to write a book about music
- and then own a castle.
The star, currently preparing for
the band's comeback with new album 'Think
Tank'' due out on May 5, has revealed
his long-term plans in one of his regular
postings on the band's official website
blur.co.uk.
He said: "It's been another
glorious week in rock, chasing dreams, wedding
dresses, locations, backing singers, fried
breakfasts, yoga, running, photos, interviews,
new assistant called Amber, Sophie
Ellis-Bextor, Sam Taylor-Wood.
Ding dong merrily on high.
"I'm going to write a book
probably about music, but I don't know. You can
do whatever you want and everything can change.
You start off as an ordinary person who has done
some interesting things and if you keep going you
eventually become an interesting person. That's
what happens.
"I want a fuck off castle and
I'm going to get one. Dreams become reality -
it's inevitable."
As previously revealed on NME.COM,
Blur are to play a four night
residency in London - and

The group, who travel out to the US
for an appearance at the Coachella
Festival (April 26), will play at the London
Astoria on May 8, 9, 10 and 12.
