Alex works with Sophie Ellis-Bextor again

Alex James is currently working with Sophie Ellis-Bextor on her new solo album. Songwriter Matt Rowe is also involved in the project.

"Matt makes a loop and we start grooving, round chord sequences, round riffs, Sophie sings and it’s like scratching an itch. Spontaneous. Beautiful", Alex wrote about the recent session on www.blur.co.uk.

Last time Alex worked with Sophie on her debut solo album in 2001.
