- NME.com:
A little Distance Left To Run
BLUR only have to
mix a handful of songs before completing their
new album, NME.COM can reveal.
The long-awaited record, the
follow-up to 1999's '13', was
started almost a year ago, and has had minimal
input from estranged guitarist Graham
Coxon.
Now, the band are scheduled to
finish the album in Devon.
However, ten songs were completed during a recent
stint in Morocco, leaving the group with very
little left to do.
"We are finishing the record in
Devon", Alex James
wrote on www.blur.co.uk.
"The gear is en route overland from Morocco
as we speak. Weve got another barn down
there. Ten tracks are mixed already. Well
probably mix another ten and then thats an
album. Wont be long."
The currently
untitled record is due for release at the start
of 2003.
