NME.com:
Blur guitarist quits?
BLUR guitarist GRAHAM
COXON has left the group, according to
tabloid reports.
In recent months, Blur
have been writing and recording their new album
in London and Morocco.
According to today's The
Mirror newspaper (August 29), tensions
within the band between him and singer Damon
Albarn have led to a series of rows, and
Coxon walking out.
However, the band's management are
stressing that Coxon is not in
the studio because he is working on a solo album.
A management representative told the paper:
"There has been no bust-up. Graham
isn't in the studio with Blur.
He is putting the finishing touches to his own
album which is out in October."
