Blur star's new label to release second album

The label co-founded by Damon Albarn releases its second album next month.

Lord Kitchener And Company's London Is The Place For Me: Trinidadian Calypso in London, 1950­56 is out on Honest John's on June 24.

It is described by the label as "a vibrant, exciting, often hilarious commentary on 1950s London life."

London Is The Place For Me features music by the likes of Lord Kitchener, Lord Beginner and The Lion.

The collection includes songs about riding on the Underground, nosey landladies and the British weather.
