Albarn pics sold to raise cash for
charity
A selection of prints taken during BLUR
singer DAMON ALBARN's visit to MALI
are being sold to raise money for OXFAM.
The images are
currently on display at Britart, and are priced
from £440.
As previously announced, Albarn
travelled Africa in July 2000 as part of Oxfam's
'On the Line' education project,
which aimed to increase understanding and
connections between countries like the UK and
Mali, linked by the Greenwich Meridian.
Albarn's trip also
spawned a charity album, 'Mali Music',
which is out now.
