Gorillaz confirm next single
The Gorillaz dropped
into the dotmusic offices yesterday and
revealed, amongst other things, that work has
begun on the video for their next single which
will be '19-2000'.
They also confirmed that the project
was not a one off and would be followed by
another Gorillaz album.
The band's beat-maker, Russel,
said: "We're doing a shoot for our third
single right now and we've been brewing up some
phat ideas for the next album. You're gonna' love
it. Peace."
Murdoc was in typically
controversial form, at one point offending his
fellow band mates saying: "As far as I see
it, I gave those two tired old farts Hewlett and
Damon a break with their flaggin' careers
and now they are clinging hopelessly to my
coat-tails."
You can find the transcript of the
webchat as well as an interview with Gorillaz production
supremeo Dan The Automator, full-length
audio from the album, the addictive 'Noodle
Fight' game and much more in
dotmusic's
Gorillaz site [site down].
