Blur offer free ringtone to fans

Blur have made their new single, 'Music Is My Radar', available to fans as a mobile phone ringtone.

The band, who are expected to crash into the UK top 10 with 'Music Is My Radar' this Sunday (October 22), have teamed up with Europe's largest mobile phone portal, iobox.com, to offer fans the chance to download the rather unusual version of the single to their mobile phones for free.

Drummer, Dave Rowntree, has personally programmed the ringtone which can be downloaded from www.blur.co.uk or www.iobox.com. This is the first time a band have made available their own version of one of their songs to download to their mobile phone. As well as the ringtone, Rowntree has also created a welcome page icon for fans to download to their phones.
