• The first proper Plastic Beach live show with guest artists and a string section
• Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Mos Def, Shaun Ryder, Kano and Bashy could not make it to the festival, because of the volcanic ash cloud that freezed most of the air traffic in Europe
