Event: BT London Live: Closing Ceremony Celebration Concert
Location: Hyde Park, London, UK
Attendance: 40,000* SOLD OUT
Tour: 2012 tour

* An estimated audience for Blur. Altogether 80,000 tickets were sold for the concert.

  • The London Olympics' closing concert tagged as "The Best Of British". Part of BT London Live's event series.
  • Bombay Bicycle Club, New Order and The Specials performed before the headline act Blur.
  • Recorded and filmed for Parklive live album. Also broadcast live on Absolute Radio.
  • Before "Song 2", Damon praised Team GB's gold medalist Mo Farah and made the crowd do the 'Mobot'.
  • "The Puritan" was not performed most probably due to technical problems or time constraints.
  • "Colin Zeal" performed instead of "Bugman" and "Oily Water".
  • As it was Sunday, Damon changed the lyrics for "Under The Westway" to "...said rain would come on Monday".
  • Many people complained about the sound being too quiet. Read NME's article about the issue.
