Quite the opposite, I think - when I saw Graham do a Q&A in Brighton recently he seemed clear that he felt he had underachieved in recent years, was underrated, which I think is right. If he is now finally in the right mental space to get out there, play live, make great records, reclaim a bit of his reputation, I think the more the better. A busy year would be wonderful for Graham, so long as he's feeling good about it.

I don't see why it would kill it. If anything it should help with momentum?

I was just being provocative ;) I'm hoping for great things in next few years. The Graham I saw a few weeks ago at Cecil Sharp House seems to be in a very good place at last...

Kill or not, Blur fandom response should be stronger on what Graham (and Dave also) is doing recently. Can´t see why a Blur fan would not find it interesting and enjoyable. And I´m not saying thet being a Blur fan obligates anyone to love it. But not give it a listen or view? Very weird.

The Waeve album finally dropped, any thoughts so far?

Mine is: what a great album, it's got such an elegant sound, I had a very pleasing experience listening to it in full. I'll definitely be revisiting it more often than I thought

I had a very casual listen while I worked yesterday, definitely feels like this is a layered album that may require a few listens to fully appreciate. From what I have heard I like and another album that is to be listened to as a whole album as opposed to having traditional standout singles.

"Drowning" and "Undine" are pretty amazing tracks! I still need to listen to the album more, but so far I also dig "Over And Over" and "Kill Me Again" (though that sax made my ears bleed at the first listen  ). It seems to be a good headphones record without too loud mastering - just like Dave's Radio Songs.

I’m on my third listen, and still don’t have well-articulated thoughts on the record. I agree with northernmonkey, it flows so well when listening through the entire record rather than individual songs. This is a good bit different than anything in Graham’s catalogue. I’m really enjoying this album, really hope I can hear these songs live! My favorite non-single might be Sleepwalking.

Brilliant album.
This could well be Graham's most musical project ever.

It seems that the album is selling really well so far - according to this article, it could even make Top 5 in UK.
