Wow. DD in the studio alone is good news!

I saw this photo months ago. On the other hand - the older this picture is, the closer we are to the actual release

Great stuff, Duran Duran always made great tunes...with the way Damon has gone im glad he isn't making any new Blur, no doubt he would politicise it and make it duller than the last Good The Bad..album.

That gig sounds very good. 1993 was a credible time for Blur to support Duran Duran.

Their last album Paper Gods was their best since the self titled "Wedding album", so quite looking forward to this.

Rediscovered Duran Duran the last few weeks, such a brilliant band live and in the studio. Seven And The Ragged Tiger a fantastic album and hopefully Graham is going to be the type of influence that the guitarist Andy Taylor made to them as when he is not with them they are never as good.

Can definitely agree with you on this Sledgey, although I'm not familiar with SATRT. Always thought Alex was more likely to work with Duran Duran than Graham!Sledge Hammer wrote: ↑10 Aug 2019, 12:57Rediscovered Duran Duran the last few weeks, such a brilliant band live and in the studio. This is an album that has the storming singles "The Reflex" "New Moon On Monday" and "Union Of The Snake" from 1983!

I've been a fan since 82. I like Rio better than Seven. Hold Back The Rain, Stairway, Nightmare are all awesome.

Re: Graham in the studio with Duran Duran...
The glossiness surrounding the 'Rio' album (videos, fashions etc) overshadowed the fact that it was a very good album.
