Mac DeMarco announced his third album "This Old Dog" http://pitchfork.com/news/69681-mac-dem ... gs-listen/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; The two tracks already available are really nice! It is good to see DeMarco grow as a musician - the music and lyrics are more mature and variable, so I am really looking forward to listening to the full album

pretty sure they don't have 8-tracks

preorders are at http://rockathonrecords.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and since the people at rockathon are awesome, you'll probably receive the album in March

Just heard one of the best albums of the year: post-rock band And So I Watch You From Afar from Belfast. They usually blast the speakers with distortion and drums, but they've added some mellow parts this time which adds to the album's dynamics.
