That song is probably gonna be stuck in my head all day today! You can tell just from listening to the instrumental that it's something Damon Albarn recorded, though the melody for it by itself is quite different from most of what he's done before. Even before this trailer was released, I had a feeling it would sound a bit like this when I tried to imagine what the music would sound like in my head.

I loved that. It's getting me all excited for the show now. Classic Damon - catchy, slightly wonky synths. Want to hear some more!metalhipslop wrote:here is a trailer

brilliant
making me think it is more likely there will be an album of this. it's clearly recorded, or just recorded for a trailer?

Haha I thought that was actually pretty corny and underwhelming.

Bit relieved those aren't Damon's lyrics, musically it worked for me. Looks like the project will probably be released on DVD that looks like an expensive trailer

I want a studio version of this. I wonder if damon sings

I'm sure there'll be a soundtrack album but no DVD so you have no idea what the songs are about.
That's what happened the last two times...

Please do. Still considering whether I should see it when it gets its London run.Sean wrote:I'm there tonight - courtesy of the wonderful beatfloh- I'll report back.

Arrggh. Do I read the reports on here or not? Hmm. I want to be surprised by the London show in November but I'm really curious to read about it too. Decisions, decisions...

I'm in a similar position but I think I may just embrace the inevitable and read away!101reykjavik wrote:Arrggh. Do I read the reports on here or not? Hmm. I want to be surprised by the London show in November but I'm really curious to read about it too. Decisions, decisions...
