I've started playing the ukulele recently. They can attract some pretty irritating/wacky types but they are so much fun to strum, and much more portable than a proper guitar. Recommended!

Yes indeed!
Or, failing that, perhaps an omnichord?

Last year I got the uke and enjoyed playing it a lot! I am more a keyboard guy, but ukulele is a fun and easy instrument to get into. Unfortunately, I had to give it away - but as soon as I can, I will get another one and will keep on strumming :)

I guess what pleases me at the moment is the availability of some free time that I can spend on improving myself - especially knowledge-wise and mentally. There is little fuss going on in my mind right now, which is definitely pleasing :)
