Steve Jobs. Surprisingly good movie though it looked more a staged play. Fassbender played Jobs really well and I enjoyed the attention to detail in the sets.

A very entertaining movie to watch really. Poor Jimmy :(
But does he die? I don't think so. If you start the movie again the moment it finishes it becomes obvious.

I don't think he dies as Jimmy is seen at the start walking away from his life as a Mod after dumping his scooter off beechy head.

Yup. He didn't die, but his entire story is so sad and sometimes pathetic. For that reason I wrote "Poor Jimmy".

"CBGB" (last night). It's about the punk scene in New York (Blondie, The Ramones, Iggy Pop, Talking Heads, The Dead Boys, etc.)

About a Boy with Hugh Grant

I've seen this film a few times when it came out. God I forgot how hot Hugh Grant was in that film! Also, the soundtrack from Badly Drawn Boy was rather good. (As was the film)

Last new film I saw was The Lobster, and I really enjoyed it. If you like your quirky comedy films (Punch-Drunk Love, etc), you'll probably enjoy it. The absurdity of the plot brings to mind the writing of Charlie Kaufman.

A Hard Day's Night (on a cinema) yesterday :P

I've seen this Beatles movie many times before(on vhs and dvd), but never on a cinema. It was special to sing the songs with lots of fans of the Beatles during the movie :D

Just picked up on this post.

I agree it will have been quite something to watch 'A Hard Day's Night' on the big screen.

Sherlock Holmes the Sign of Four with Jeremy Brett as Sherlock. He's so brilliant as Holmes. Personally I think he puts everyone else to shame.

Vivre Sa Vie.. stunning.

Maybe you need to watch the whole film to feel it, but at 8:40 in this fantastic scene (towards the end) something happens that just knocked me out. Simple and devastating.
