in case you get carried away (apologies to those in the know

)
The name “Mediamass”
The project's name is an ironic reversal of portmanteau “mass-media” (media for the masses) in “media-mass” which here means “media en masse” as mass production and therefore mass consumption are the object of our criticism.
The website “mediamass.net”
The website mediamass.net is the medium of our satire to expose with humour, exaggeration and ridicule the contemporary mass production and mass consumption that we observe
Also it will not only mock the producers (mainstream media, journalists) as it is common when questioning and criticizing mass media, but also the consumers as one cannot exist without the other. Sensationalism, lack of verification of information, ethics and standards issues are only symptoms of the actual social and economic order. This is particularly obvious when observing the role of social networking sites in spreading rumours.

Thanks, I had no idea of that, but I did see the links in their related articles included Dave Rowntree named world's sexiest man and thought that was definitely an
announcement I had missed...

Yeah - I raised an eyebrow when I saw that Graham was nominated for Time's person of the year 2022 and that Damon was the world's highest earning musician! Interesting that they're bothering to write about blur though....

From what I've been told, as I've mentioned before they've been in the studio practising for over 12 months of and on, but a new album of material was written by the end of last summer. Can't reveal the source I'm afraid as I'm sure you can appreciate, but it's 100% genuine from what I know guys
In the mongoose we trust! Ever since you got Wembley right I decided fuck it, there’s gonna be new music.
Now tell us they’re gonna do a world tour

Well you were spot on about the Wembley gigs so I have faith in your info!
Thanks bro.
It's hard sometimes to know if you should share things, for fear of getting shot down. Appreciate it

It’s been a slow start news-wise for blur in 2023. I assume the focus for now is the 3 blur members records in the next month or so. I wonder when we’ll hear more though. Maybe around April? Hmmm

I put on my OG 90s Blurger tee this morning when I got out of bed, and the very lovely lass who'd shared my night with me complimented it and said 'they're playing that new festival this year.'
I'm in Australia so assume we'd had a chat last night about a new festival starting up here. there you go.

If they don't put or play new music for these shows I'll be really dissapointed.

They've done new music at every tour they've done. I'll be amazed if there isn't any.

Don't think they did in 2009, did they? Under The Westway in 2012 (largely forgotten). Did they ever play Fool's Day live?

Fool's Day was released in 2009. But yeah I don't think they've ever played it live.
