Off Topic !
Did you hear the The Coral´s new album ? It´s great, the album of the year to me .
There´s a B-Side called "Today" that sound´s a lot like Graham´s solo songs , specially songs from "The Spinning Top" .
Here is the link for the song :

Just got tickets for the New Vic on 17 September!
Bit of a trek up from London but will be driving up with my daughter (my blur/damon/graham/gorillaz gig partner - when available!)

I can't wait to hear your all's insights/reviews! There's been no indication as to what to expect from these gigs yet.

Can't believe it's only a week away now.

I've actually got a pretty crazy week or so coming up Arctic Monkeys on Thursday, GC on Monday then flying out for Inter V Spurs on Tuesday, then that weekend I fly out to San Diego for a week's holiday. My life is normally so boring as well I swear!

Does Graham ever play any Blur songs at his solo shows?
I've a feeling he doesn't but would be nice to hear You're So Great or Coffee...

To my knowledge, You're So Great is the only blur song he's played solo, but I could be wrong.

STOP PRESS - Graham played two blur songs - You're So Great (not unexpected) and ... Miss America

Wonderful stuff :)

Videos coming later today - after I've got some kip...

hi all :)

What an amazing gig! Due to getting tickets late, we found ourselves behind Graham - quite close though. It's a small, intimate space, so this really didn't matter...

Graham played solo with just his guitars - acoustic for most, electric for one only - with quite a lot of looping going on. It felt like a warm up gig - lot's of tuning, head scratching, false starts etc - but i think this probably what you'll get in America too - it is Graham after all! I took lots of videos - all from just behind Graham of course, but though I say it myself, the sound is bloody amazing. I'll put these up on Vimeo this evening. It's a bit of a faff, so let me know if you want to see any up before the others:

way up high (Ram Jam Holder cover)
falling
all over me
flights to the sea
angry me
saturday night
it's all blue
all the rage
(from the unreleased acoustic album recorded with A&E - Graham described it as sitting in his sock drawer somewhere!)
she left the light on
roaming star
can't find my way home
(Blind Faith cover - Coxon does Clapton!!)
miss america (according to my copy of Black Book, blur never performed this live - so this is its first ever outing   )
brave the storm (pts 1 and 2!)
walking all day
in the morning
you're so great
:)
there's something in the way that you cry
see a better day
sorrow's army

Thanks rich! The band played an acoustic version of Miss America back in 1993 though, but I don't think the song has ever been played since. By the way, is this his first solo tour to feature blur songs other than You're So Great?

Amazing setlist, and love what few videos I've seen so far! I can't wait to see him on Friday. I'd love to make a playlist of this setlist, but Graham's spotify is very incomplete. I would try to make it with my iTunes, but some of the tracks (Flights to the Sea, TEOTFW soundtrack, etc) I don't have, so I just listen to them on Spotify.

Amazing rich, I'm so jealous. I'd like to hear the unreleased one too and the songs form TEOTFW, especially There's something... :-)

As far as know The Adventure Club Sessions' performance is the only live version of Miss America, live in studio though, isn't it?
