The End Of The F***ing World (Original Songs and Score by Graham Coxon)

Spotify: bit.ly/teotfw-spotify
iTunes: bit.ly/teotfw-itunes
Download: bit.ly/teotfw-dl

Where is that ever-moaning, for new material always hungry Blur fan base? We have new Graham Coxon album with some really great songs. Let me hear your thoughts.

Some cracking tunes on this, it's a great listen.
Bus Stop is stuck in my head all day, In My Room, It's All Blue and Something In The Way That You Cry really stand out too.
I liked the series, this makes me want to watch it again now. :D

Playing it now. Having seen the whole show I've heard a lot of these songs already and I was correct in assuming that a good deal of them would just be interludes. But there are some really, really good songs on it.

Somebody in youtube comments has pointed out to similarity of "Bus Stop" with Devo´s "Gut Feeling". What you think?

They're very, very similar. I love both though.

yeah, i thought that too

it uses different chords (when it started i thought it was gonna end up sounding like villa rosie) but the vibe is definitely gut feeling

The show is really that good! Easily one of my fav Netflix Originals, and probably one of my fav shows ever. I watched it originally just for Graham's music, but I stayed for the amazing actors and plot. Graham's tunes fit so well, and every time I hear him it's like a cherry on top.

I decided to purchase this on Itunes last night, with a little hesitation thinking this may just be a collection of sountrack style fillers, but the thing is if I didn't know it was a soundtrack to a TV program I would just have assumed it was Graham's next solo album, which obviously it is, but you know what I mean.

There seems to be just the right amount of songs with Graham vocally on them and the more instrumental ones are so so good, bringing out Graham's experimental side seen with Blur's 13 and much of his other solo work. Bus stop is the early standout track after only 3 listens of the album, but the rest of the album is a growing on me. I loved Graham's work on the production and obviously his actual guitar contribution to the Magic Whip, but maybe didn't let himself go, as obviously a new Blur release after so many years with him just creating as much noise as he could maybe wouldn't have been the right choice for the masses (I wouldn't have minded) and it is nice to see he can do this with his solo work.

Not sure if I am going to watch the TV program this is a soundtrack, I have a lot on my list of things to watch, but great album anyway :)

I like the show a lot. I have my problems with it, but that's just general film student-y stuff. I recommend it.

He was writing an album based on the show, instead of writing to the picture

Well, that's what I thought. I loved this album from the first listen and it's absolutely just next solo Graham's album to me... it isn't "soundtracky" at all.

Still yet to listen to the soundtrack fully, or watch the show. Is it just me, or does Walking All Day remind anyone else of Vashti Bunyan, not suggesting it's a rip off or anything of the sort, just has that feel to it, maybe just me
