Interesting video, thanks for sharing. His voice has aged and matured like any voice would. Some of the high notes on This Is A Low don't sound as good as they used to, that's one I think he should retire. Also I didn't know Damon played For Tomorrow on his solo album tour. Terrible performance without the other Blur boys behind him. His solo band just don't cut the mustard.

I agree with bugman. Really like the version the Heavy Seas did for the BBC.

As it was mentioned that Damon's voice has changed due to smoking, what's about Graham? I guess that he is a smoker since Blur's career has started. But I think that his voice hasn't changed realy, beside the fact that he's more older now.

Sometimes his vocals on certain songs during the early to mid 90s annoy me. Like, on For Tomorrow for example. I have no idea why he's trying to do that high-pitched, childish voice. It completely ruins the song for me.

Also Brett Anderson from Suede used to do it as well back in the day. Listen to the original version of Trash, for example, and then to the re-recorded version that appears on their Singles compilation. The latter one is so much better.

I prefer Damon’s voice with the crack and the grit. The first evidence of it is on the ‘Charmless Man’ b-sides like ‘The Man Who Left Himself’ and ‘St Louis Song’ that predicted more of the style that would appear on ‘Blur’. It all feels more natural and a little less ‘forced’. And of course his range has dropped some over the years, but guess what? Bon Jovi now drop ‘Livin on a Prayer’ a couple of steps and Elton John doesn’t even attempt the falsetto of ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’ anymore. It’s all part of growing up and growing old.

I prefer his voice now, is deeper, the only but is that he can't reach the highs like before in some songs..
