Re: gorillaz legacy
as the band is "animated" ... it could potentially go on.. i don't know anything really about missy for example.. but if she is musically inclined or any other "trusted" hands could take over IF damon EVER stops making music - probably the world will explode first 0.=

Re: gorillaz legacy
if jamie or damon were to pass i think they would do a posthumous rarities compilation or two
other than that i don't think they'd want to keep it going

No, don't think that's ever going to happen. Gorillaz will always be Damon and Jamie.3d wrote:as the band is "animated" ... it could potentially go on.. i don't know anything really about missy for example.. but if she is musically inclined or any other "trusted" hands could take over IF damon EVER stops making music - probably the world will explode first 0.=

hmm, maybe the characters have kids .. new band "kidz"
or maybe new characters..i think gorillaz is a genius way to appeal to such a wide agegroup
and has the potential to have started something that could be carried on for a long time..
damon's a lot fitter than me but i wonder how long he can jump around on stage for..
anyways interesting project .. if they ever give it up, they could introduce / collaberate with a new animated band
with damon and jamie still writing and drawing..and the character suits being near future..
just thinking long term which is something i don't usually do..
anyways, for me blur will always be #1
