Unless they're holding back a really great single, it's likely to be the worst seller of all the 4 (proper) Gorillaz albums.

I think anyone could have predicted that from before it was released. I'd expect EMI would have known this. Bands who have been around for almost 20 years (and 30 years in Damon's case) lose more fans each year than they gain.

It is not actually doing too bad. 2-4-12-14 is what Plastic Beach did in its first four weeks, so it is performing a similar level and with the sales of the deluxe version, the sponsorship of E-ON, Jaguar and Lenz it is probably turning a larger profit than PB even with slightly smaller sales. The tour should give the album legs in the charts and when the super deluxe version with brand new songs is released that will be a further bump and added revenue.

And of course the Singles collection went Gold last week and has been in the top 100 since Humanz has been released.

To be fair, again, he's doing a whole show. I like videos too but I think that TV show is gonna be something a whole lot bigger, and potentially better.

Still praying for Adult Swim.

Is the TV show definitely happening then? I thought it was only something they were thinking about but not confirmed yet.

Thanks. :) I like the bit when Jamie said the videos will be "that way from now on". Suggests more are set for release this year. Hopefully!

There will certainly be another video at least! Recently on Noodle's instagram, Noodle commented that they're beginning work on the next video.

Interesting point. A bit sad, but probably true, as people move on in life.
