99% sure it's mostly just Damon doing nonsense words. I've tried transcribing it as I hear it but let's be real, it's pretty dodgy. If anyone can do better please do!

you are first
whence you get???
looks good??
passing cars
to the thoughts and that
she said
the duty i'm
love is pure
words of ein
i'll set you on your way and

I hope you find your suburb
with someone made for you
wifeswapping is your future
there's nothing you can do
oohh

words of when??
we were thoughts
oh no
she puts the flace??
and it's good
of her
the little one
wants to
know its name
put a rubber on
it will go go go away and

i hope you find your suburb
with someone made for you
wife swapping is your future
there's nothing you can do
oooh

I hope you find your ???
and something comes of it
with all the thoughts and shitty
parts that comes for it
oohh

i hope you get to heaven
with ???? and ??? it all
there's nothing worse than feeling
there's nothing worse than that
oooh no

"wife swapping is your future" works better here than in stereotypes

What a beautiful melody.
Shame that Damon didn't write good lyrics for this tune.

Just recently been giving the old demos and b-sides a go and man, is this thing is so good.

So sweet. A classic sort of Blurist Albarn soon. All about the people you know exist but only really meet in wordless passing.

Love how the music just sort of sounds like the last dance at a school ball, the title lyric is just so good. Reminds me of like seeing a girl for the third time you're into, knowing it'll never work, saying "I'll see you later" innocuously before she kicks your wind out with a "look you're a lovely guy, but I just don't think I'm feeling it." You walk back home and thank god you're in opposition directions. Hope you find your suburb, hope everything else after in life is okay too...

Lyrics total gibberish yet a bit like Young & Lovely or Fool's Day, which aren't to be fair, they really set a tone. Even if it doesn't flow. That "love is pure" and the weight in Damon's vocals is one of those moments where you're like – the three or four unmistakable vocal queues he has are so good. Underrated.

As Forever Low Man said, the "wife swapping is your future" suburb here is way better utilised here. It becomes sad and resigned as opposed to cheeky and judgemental. Kind of a real 'you're growing up' feel to it here.

Beautiful track, how did this never get finished? Probably would've made The Great Escape far too dichotomous on the speedy-pop-songs/beautiful, career-highlighting ballads but y'know.

Never even thought to give this one a listen from start to finish. It almost sounds like it has ideas that would go on to become best days, stereotypes and on my way to the club..
