I don't mind Bowie's live Heroes of the 80s but one of the keys to the original is how the few instruments there were soared, and that's kinda lost when you add brass and lots of other stuff. Bono should be okay.

Coldplay over Blur as godlike genius?!?! That's gotta be a joke.. I mean, the only thing that Coldplay achieved more than Blur is a larger fame worldwide. Apart from that, Blur is a better band by ANY means: songwriting, artistic development, eclecticism... I really don't get it, 2015 has been Blur's big comeback year and the Brits should have recognized that a lot more.

Why should you award a band as "godlike" when they just released one of their lamest records and not a band that managed to record a great, solid album after 16 years of songwriting inactivity?
