I'd take Wigwam over Everyday Robots as well. I know we all make fun of Wigwam but the songs that were released were as catchy as hell.

The Parklife album is overrated.

Essex Dogs is the best piece of dub music since Bela Lugosi's Dead.

Blur invented 65daysofstatic with Battle (semi-joke)

The self-titled sometimes suffers from its lo-fi production, just like Pavement, Guided by Voices, and basically almost every lo-fi band.

The Great Escape sometimes suffers from its crystal clean production on songs that don't require it, namely It Could Be You

For Tomorrow is stolen from Razorlight's 2004 single "Golden Touch" (joke)

Song 2 is stolen from Big Time Rush's 2012 single whatever it was. (joke)

Razorlight, instead of Razorshite (joke)

Country House is Damien Hirst's attempt to invert his usual artworks.

You're So Great is so great. Seriously. What a charming song. But no one says its great.

Death of a Party is a bit overrated, but its nice.

You're So Great is actually a top 30 Blur song. Therefore it is better than This Is A Low.

Excluding YSG and IJAKFYL, the s/t record isn't lo-fi by any means.

Loving the cathartic effect this thread is having on us!! :D :D
I'm laughing so hard at some of the comments here. Strange to see we all have so many different opinions about our favorite band!!

P. S.: "Everyday Robots" and "Think Tank" sound really good to me. Same goes for TIAL

I agree with quite a few of the points raised. 'The Universal' has become over-rated, and 'Everyday Robots' has the status it has because of Damon's ardent fans.

When you are dedicated, you can be reluctant to have an objective view.

13 is not a rip-off of Pavement.

I know not many people think it is, but Stephen Malkmus, who is popular, does. Or did, when he had that grudge.
