Without sounding harsh, people have to care about it to bootleg it.

It's only in cinemas and no one is actually going to be arsed to cam a documentary in 2016 so I don't know where you're all expecting it to appear from

^so is the general consensus that the Hollywood Bowl show was lame? That's what it seems like from you guys, unless I'm reading it wrong...

Yes. But I need to add that the venue itself was amazing. The look and the feel of the show was spot on. Couldn't ask for better. The crowd was ready too. The band themselves didn't seem very into it. The setlist was boring too. It's not like people wanted hits but you could tell people wanted more Magic Whip songs or more energy. You look at the Coachella set from 2012 and then this set and it's like night and day.

Overall it was set up for a magic moment kind of show and it just fell flat.

Have I got this wrong, but I thought I remember reading on here that the Hollywood Bowl show was really short too?

Yes, that's correct, I think owing to noise ordinances/curfews. Also, a friend who went said there were several thousand empty seats and described it as more sad than triumphant.

Yeah it was a really short set. Really wasn't worth the flight there. Even though there were empty seats it's worth noting that it seats like 18,000.

Blur never seem to have balls when they play big shows in the US.

I'm going off of phone videos here, but it seemed to me that the crowd was the issue, not the band. They were phenomenal at MSG. You could feel the energy in the audience and I think that's difference.

True though, a shit audience usually means a shit show.

As someone who was there and has been a few blur shows it didn't appear that the crowd was the problem. People were really into it.
