Post by unclepeter » 07 Sep 2015, 16:43

Hey there, its been doing my head for years - how does Graham make those swirling guitar sounds on sing? i googled it, but all i could find was someone else askin it and getting the wrong answer:

oh ello... originally when it was recorded i used a alexis micro verb.. i don't know where that is now...

live i have a delay on ..just under a second delay isn..and around 4 echoes...and a hall delay on too...but i played it a bit like when you drum your fingers on the table...like a slow heroin flamenco...tadaah!!

thanks, much appreciated.. absolutely adore this song and the second part is bliss! definitely one of my favourite blurs, probably one of the most interesting pieces I've heard in music, ever! ... honestly, can get completely lost in this beautiful chaos..
do you remember what reverb you were using?

sweet of you to stop by here and really interesting to get an insight...

howsabout bugman? some niice guitar going on there... punkifier + ? some awesome glitchy buzz sound going on around the 3 minute mark too... would be great to see an extended version of this song live, as far as a i can remember live versions seem a little shorter..

also, (if I've not grilled you too much :) what are you singing at the end of pyongyang?

if you get a chance mate.. no expectations

best
