A live streaming would be great, but yes we really don't need another "Live in Hyde Park" release, i rather waiting for a Magic Whip Deluxe with a extra DVD with the full Mode and New York gigs

I know everyone has difference experiences and accounts but my mates said it was pretty bad yesterday. Rotten sound, a few fights (one mate saw six coppers pinning down some fella!), a very inattentive crowd (especially during The Strokes) who chatted over loads of it, and lots of people openly doing coke off keys.

Hope Saturday's a bit better obviously.

Few minutes ago I arrived to Hyde Park, it's absolutely exciting been here. It's like a dream come true....but I'm sure that tomorrow will be even better.

Ugh!

Thunderstorms aren't good for safety reasons at these events.

Don't like the look of that forecast BUT I remember last year when I went to Alton Towers the forecast was shite, the remnants of a hurricane it was gonna be the worst thing ever etc and it didn't happen! Just a couple of heavy showers on the day

It will likely change in the next 24 hours. If it changes for the better is the question.

Disappointed would be a understatement regarding the line up, had i known I'd have held back from buying especially as I got pre sale tickets.

Although I'm only going to see blur, I wouldn't have paid what are the most expensive single gig tickets I think I've ever brought.

The only other act I'm interested in seeing is The Horrors and they come on around 4ish and I'm not hanging around for another 4 hours waiting for blur.

I'll be doing what I did in 2012, I only live a bus ride from Hyde Park so I'll be arriving around 45 minutes before blur come on, I'm sure I'll find a decent place to watch as I did in 2012 especially as my friend who works for a major ticket agency told me that less than 40,000 have been sold, the venue holds 65000, not sure of figures in 2009 & 2012. But I think capacity was similar and the gigs sold out.

Hopefully the event will be good and blur I'm sure will be great as always, the 2012 gig was one of my favorite blur gigs from the 25 years I've seen them live.

I'n hindsight I would have tried to blag a cheap ticket from a tout I'm sure they'll be giving them away,I'll try to do that for The Who next week.

Let's hope that the weather stays fine and the idiots stay away and everyone enjoys themselves.

One of the biggest golden circles ive ever seen in front of a stage. Stood not too far outside it and it was like listening to a gig through a pillow. absolute shite. £5.50 for a Heineken, but i queued with future Labour legend andy burnham so it was worth it.... roll on Blur...! ;)
Did you see any touts selling cheap tickets?

There are lots of cheap tickets on Gumtree now - from £30.
I'm guessing many of these are from people who snapped them up for next-to-nothing the other day in the charity offer...

I wasn't asked to show ANY ID when I went yesterday. No card, no driving licence, nothing. They just scanned my ticket and I walked through.

Going back to the sound...disappointing. During some songs it was fantastic but then during others it was like they'd turned off certain speakers or something. Dreadful!
