Looking at their Twitter mentions, this is turning out to be a bit of a PR disaster. Equal measure of people furious about the tickets being discounted, and people angry that they can't seem to buy tickets despite donating.

I hope this is the final nail in the coffin for BST, but I know they'll do the same next year. They'll just need to carry on thinking of more innovative methods of discounting.

Or, y'know, actually have affordable tickets. Or, donate, let's say, £20 of each £219 (£219!) VIP ticket sold to charity.

Only BST could manage this. Infuriating not just people who had already bought tickets, but also people who are attempting to buy the charity tickets and not succeeding

Yep, I see it. I've sent them a message but no reply yet. Boy am I pissed off!! If I don't hear back I will be reporting them to the Trading Standards Institute.

Or they're a bunch of incompetent FOOLS who thought it would be fun to charge £80 originally but then let tickets go for £2 minimum donation with £2.50 booking fee to make up for their mistake, and then when people donate money for a ticket, they take it and give you nothing in return.
