They're available in a sample rate of 96/24. HUGE files.

Tracks sound a bit more crisp in high def, but not sure if there is SUCH a big difference between 320kbps and these ones.

Huh, didn't know those were available. Generally the HD files have a better mix and master.

I'll buy "hi-def" music when it's a mastering that can't be obtained anywhere else, but in this case (if I'm not mistaken) the master is the same as the CD. And it's 24-bit/44.1 khz, rather than 24-bit/96 khz.

Yup, the masters are identical to Blur 21 versions, but the quality is HD (24bit/96khz to be precise, at least when bought from 7digital).

So far only MLIR, Parklife and Blur have been released - the label is probably testing the waters with these and perhaps release others later...

That's kind of a rip off, paying that much for high quality clipping. These music people forget that most of us know how to use a volume knob.

Ironically, with the recently released HD albums, you have "the luxury" of using a volume knob, but only because they're 4dB quieter! (at least Think Tank which I bought yesterday from 7digital). Of course, the same old clipping remains.
