You tube video is not from B roads, there are no studio scenes on B roads, the songs in it are either on stage or bedded into a music video kind or documentary style with relations to the songs

as long as we now know that this documentary really exists and that many people had access to it, it seems pretty normal and natural that the people who didn't have the chance to see it yet keep talking about it. And this discussion will last until someone leaks it. It's like the holy grail now.

Whoever leaks it is going to be in a world of shit as far as legal issues, so I wouldn't hold my breath on it. Honestly, it'd be a disappointment to most people. But I understand the hankering for it all the same.

Would the band actually care if it was leaked though? I mean if it's anything like Cocksucker Blues and we see graphic scenes of them injecting themselves with smack, ok, fair enough. But I've been led to understand there aren't any scenes like that.

No, no scenes like that although it still doesn't show them in their best light. It was during a very weird period for all of them, as everyone here knows, and I'm sure they don't care to revisit the stresses and strains of back then, especially with the repaired relationships they all have at the present. And whether the band cares of not, their label and management, who hold the rights, sure would care.

To be fair, in this day and age, it's a miracle it hasn't been leaked already!

Agreed, and I think is a testament to how seriously in trouble anyone who would leak it takes the ramifications! That, and their honoring of their word not to do so (certainly in my case).

Couldn't management be asked if they still would mind it being released? I can understand not "ruining their image" back then, but I would think that wouldn't matter now. The past is the past. Seems like just more promotion for the band to me.

There's a ton of inventive fun to be had for those who do own it, just a few ideas here that COULD be shared:

- Create some stick figure storyboards.

- Get some mates around, get drunk, act out the whole thing

- Video a TV playing B-Roads in the background of a shot, but only as an 'accident' - the main feature is you in the foreground playing Call of Duty or something. Upload to Youtube.

- Write down every word in stage play format, with some scene descriptions, change the names and self publish it as One Direction fan fiction.

Folks can ask management whatever they want...go for it. I still don't see them wanting it out, just my gut. Yes, it's the distant pass, but it also seems that even the repaired relationships within the band are bit precarious and certainly precious to the 4 of them. Can't see them wanting to revisit one of the lowest points of their career and lives, at least interpersonally. Think of it this way...would you like it if your parents showed all of their friends some embarrassing home video of you from 20 years ago, even though you're older and wiser now and it's in the distant past? I know I wouldn't, and my low/embarrassing points caught on video are far tamer than theirs.

I did write a scene-by-scene synopsis in my 2nd book, which is why I don't understand why so many folks on here are always asking what's on it. I know a few hundred copies of the book have been sold, many to folks on this and the old forum, and there's nothing to stop folks from transcribing it and sharing it on here.

As I've said before, like with most things the myth is far better than the reality. I've watched the film three times in all the time I've had it...it really doesn't hold up to repeat viewings the way Starshaped does. It's not a mystery why the band didn't deem it worthy of release, even just on artistic grounds.

Very appealing idea, but I doubt I could any of my mates to watch this for long enough to get them acquainted with more than, say, two scenes, maybe three at best... (blur fans excluded, but none of my friends of that sort live very close by).

Maybe a thing one could act out over the years while queuing for blur gigs?

i watched toegther with some people I went to gigs with at places like hotel rooms and lobby and on the Eurostar, so it's not that people don't wanna share.

This might be a good idea to satisfy our burning curiosities. At least we'll know what we're missing. I didn't know this was in the book.

It's a chapter near the end of my 2nd book. A complete scene-by-scene description of the film, followed by my thoughts on it. I don't mind one bit if someone scans it in and shares it here...hell, I might do it myself just so everyone can read it by this point.
