Re: B-Roads
Magpie, you've probably answered this question dozens of times, but how did B-Roads come into your possession in the first place?
Re: B-Roads
I can answer that. See, there is this "Blur Illuminati" that has special privileges and....UGH...*dies*
Re: B-Roads
Is there a link to the B roads review? I have black book on my iPad, and 3862 days but not sure I've seen anything in either, tbf it's been a while since I read thru and when I've tried in recent times I'd been pissed and full of blur related emotion

There's no review in 3862 days, as far as I remember it's not mentioned in there - although it was over 10 years ago I last read it. There have been 2 editions of Drew's book (I think) and the B Roads review is only in the second one (again I think) so if you have the first edition that's why you haven't seen it in there. Hope that helps (although probably infuriates if you only own the first edition!)

Re: B-Roads
Somewhere in my parents attic I might have a print out of the whole thread containing the photos. It's certainly not worth digging out for the photos (barely a black blur produced by a very old black and white ink yet printer... -- MrMagpies review gives you a far better picture), but if I still remember then I might check this when home for Christmas. Just to give you all an idea about the scale of the fuss this caused back then and how quickly it was deleted, just as Doug is pointing out here...dougharrison wrote:Thirdly screenshots of the film were available online over FB once upon a time, the impression I get is that Blur management yanked the chain on that pretty quickly so a) it's clear those in authority still really don't want this in the public domain and b) what is out there (a small handful of copies, Mr Magpie's review) is probably all that is out there - I assume if the old FB photos had been saved by anyone they would have resurfaced by now.
Re: B-Roads
Blur's management have been so fast at shutting down B-Roads, if only they took the same care and precision with music promotion...

That's certainly a sentiment I can get on board with.

Re: B-Roads
I have always believed that somehow Damon was involved in setting them up? No idea how this belief has formed, but if you look at the artists they promote it's not unlikely to be true.aldamasta wrote:Yes Tom yes! Genuinely wonder why Damon and Graham keep Eleven MGMT... any ideas?

The only half-popular bands on there are Damon's ones...Liese wrote:I have always believed that somehow Damon was involved in setting them up?
