It's back - with Chris Evans. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-33241298

God knows how he'll do a new series, with Top Gear and the Radio 2 breakfast show. The man will burn out again.

Wow! Six episodes too! I wonder if he'll hand it over to Nick grimshaw bloke at the end of the series. I bloody hope not, it's Evans or I'll turn off.

Eight!

Nick Grimshaw is a total prick. I don't even know what he's supposed to be?

if so it's a very poor choice, I can't see what he's got to offer such a classic show..

This will stand or fall by the calibre and type of music they book. If it's stuff which suits Chris' audience, so Britpop-era or so and working back from there, it could be brilliant fun again. If they introduce loads of newer music, it'll have to be carefully picked. Years and Years and Rudimental sucked balls.

This is exactly why I didn't want it to return. It can't possibly be 8 episodes of pure nostalgia.

I think you're right. On the whole, I'd rather they left it well alone for fear of disappointment. If Grimshaw was involved, I certainly wouldn't be touching it with a barch pole. What is it about that bloke? He's just the essence of annoying, isn't he?

Not sure he's any more annoying that Evans is/was. Maybe it's just a generational thing!

I won't have any of that sensible and rational talk. Trying to hate on Grimshaw here!
