From what I've been reading it's a new company that started up recently. It would be suicide to give away the ice cream for free although I can see where you're coming from. £3.99 is the cost. Not much for ice cream, a song and a competition.

I had 2 for just blur and traded for 2 for Blur and Strokes when the deal came out....

I don't think the one day price is average at all tbh not for what you get, having gone to Sabbath and Libs last year, it's not like any other festival where you pay your money and you can see all of the undercard. The other stages aren't tents they are indoor stages with strictly limited capacity, you had to queue to get in and once full of it was one in one out. In reality it meant if you wanted to see any of the bands on the main stage (in a good position) there was not really any possibility of seeing the bands on the undercard. With Sabbath I didn't really care as only really wanted to see FNM otherwise but for Libs it felt like,a massive con not helped by the fact they closed some early due to damage.

Only got tix this year because it was Blur and then swapped for 2 days when they offered the 2 band package. The organisation is utterly shite, sound is usually crap due to residential location so I don't think it compares with a day ticket to any actual festival tbh.

The ice cream was officially promoted on the Blur Facebook page a few hours ago. SHOCK!!! As always, this forum continues to beat the official Blur channels.
